Drug arrest in Bell County

(Arjay, Ky.) - On July 22, 2014 at 6:57 P.M. Kentucky State Police Post 10 Troopers executed a search warrant at a residence on Wiser Branch Road in the Arjay community of Bell County. The search warrant was obtained by Tpr. Joey Brigmon stemming from a drug investigation.
Post 10 requested a canine to assist troopers with the search warrant. TFC Dallas Eubanks deployed canine Rex and conducted a search of the residence and out buildings. During the search Rex alerted in an out building and approximately one and a half pounds of marijuana was located. As a result of the search warrant, Troopers seized approximately $6000.00 in cash, 1 1/2 pounds of marijuana, several pills, three packages of suboxone strips, a surveillance system, and seven guns. The homeowner James Revis Jr, 40, of Arjay was arrested during the search. Mr. Revis is charged with Trafficking controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense, Trafficking controlled substance 2nd degree 1st offense, Trafficking controlled substance 3rd degree 1st offense, Trafficking marijuana 8 oz to 5 pounds, and Drug paraphernalia. Mr. Revis was lodged in the Bell County Detention Center. Two other people at the residence were cited for possession charges. This case remains under investigation by Tpr. Joey Brigmon.
