Knox County Drug Arrest

(Barbourville, Ky.) - On March 20, 2014 Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received information that drug activity was taking place at a residence on Elliot Branch in Knox County. Tpr. Jake Wilson, Tpr. Jason Young, and TFC. Dallas Eubanks along with his canine dog Rex responded to the residence. Once Troopers arrived at the residence, they made contact with the owner Gary King, 42, of Barbourville. While at the residence Rex and his canine handler located a small bag of marijuana. Mr. King then led troopers to a vehicle in his driveway were he had six additional pounds of marijuana. Mr. King was arrested and lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. Mr. King was charged with Trafficking Marijuana over five pounds and Possession of Marijuana.
