Soldier Woman Injured in a Collision on KY 174

(Morehead, KY) -- On February 15, 2013 at 7:20 a.m. Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call for service of a single vehicle accident on KY 174 in Rowan County. Penny Henderson, 37 of Soldier, was traveling westbound on KY 174 prior to the intersection of Tunnel Cut Loop Road. Mrs. Henderson lost control of her vehicle, veered off the roadway into a ditch line striking a tree. Mrs. Henderson was transported to Saint Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY with injuries to her face and arm. Mrs. Henderson was then transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY with non life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Keith Howard, Kentucky State Police Morehead.
