(Richmond, KY.) -- Captain Greg Crockett, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of November, 2013.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,862 citations of which 410 were for speeding, 4 for no child restraint and 134 for no seatbelts. There were a total of 24 individuals arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 430 courtesy notices, and assisted 70 stranded motorists, while inspecting 1,549 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 66 traffic collisions in the month of November.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 1,035 complaints, opened 79 criminal cases, and made 264 criminal arrests.
