Kentucky State Police Make Arrest for Drug Trafficking in Estill County

(Irvine, KY) -- On Saturday, February 9, 2013, troopers assigned to the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, discovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia at a residence on Winston Road. The troopers responded to the residence on an anonymous complaint of drug activity.

Christian Chuney, 25 years old of Detroit, Michigan has been charged with Possession of Marijuana and Deanna Winburn, 33 years old of Richmond, Kentucky ws charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Both face charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (3 Counts) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both Chuney and Winburn were lodged in the Estill County Jail. The juvenile inside the residence was placed with family members.

Trooper Jason Carpenter is the investigating officer and was assisted by other KSP personnel.
