Three Vehicle Injury Collision in Warren County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Monday, November 18, 2013, Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to a three vehicle injury collision at the 30 mile point on I 65 in Warren County, Kentucky.

According to Trooper Kevin Mayfield, Loren Furmich (43) of Eads, TN was traveling southbound in the middle lane in his 2012 Freightliner when he made contact with a 2010 Mercury Milan being operated by Deborah S. Wurth (54) of Bowing Green, who was traveling in the right lane. Mr. Furmich then veered into the left lane, striking a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Dawn Mitchell (38) of Glasgow, KY and pushing it into the wall. Ms. Mitchell was extricated from the vehicle by Alvaton FD. Mitchell and Wurth were transported to Bowling Green Medical Center for minor injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Trooper Kevin Mayfield.
