CIP News Release -- Manufacturing Methamphetamine Arrest

Criminal Interstate Patrol

(Bowling Green, KY) -- Officers from the Criminal Interstate Patrol Team observed a Toyota truck on I65 following too close to a tractor trailer and the driver operating the truck was not wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was stopped for the violations. The vehicle was being operated by James Cummings of Tennessee and Jerry Self of Mississippi. Both subjects were in possession of items associated with methamphetamine use. A search of the vehicle, resulted in discovering an active methamphetamine cook in the bed of the Toyota. Cummings and Self were lodged in the Warren County Jail for manufacturing methamphetamine and several other charges.
