Two Vehicle Injury Collision in Hart County

(Bowling Green, KY) -- On Saturday, March 9, 2013, the Kentucky State Police responded to a two vehicle injury collision at the intersection of U.S. 31-W and Old Main Street in Munfordville.

Unit 1, a yellow 2001 Ford Mustang, driven by 16 year old Erica Walters, was southbound on 31-W making a left turn at the traffic light. Unit 2, a blue 2003 Ford Econoline van driven by 50 year old Andrew Jackson was Northbound on 31-W going through the intersection.

Unit 1 turned left pulling in front of unit 2. Contact was made in the intersection when the front of unit 2 contacted the right rear corner of unit 1. The driver of unit 2 complained of possible injury to his back, neck, and chest and was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by the Hart County EMS.
