Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Arrest

Madisonville, KY (Hopkins County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a Madisonville man with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration.

On Thursday, December 12, 2013, at approximately 3:35 p.m., Trooper Bob Winters arrested Donald Williamson Jr., 51 of Madisonville, at his residence located on Rosecreek Road in Madisonville.

KSP Post 2 Madisonville had received information that Mr. Williamson was possibly living in the Madisonville area and was currently on the Indiana Sex Offender Registry displaying an Evansville address. The Indiana registry listed him as a lifetime registrant. Trooper Winters made contact with Mr. Williamson who advised he had been living at his current address since July of 2013. Per Kentucky law, Mr. Williamson had five working days to register as a sex offender.

Mr. Williamson was charged with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration 1st Offense (D Felony) and lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
