Elkton Woman Charged with Terroristic Threatening

Elkton, KY (Todd County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged an Elkton woman with Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.

On Monday, December 2, 2013, at approximately 1:45 p.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by the Todd County Sheriff's Department in reference to a threat made to "blow up" the Todd County Courthouse.

An investigation conducted by Tpr. Craig Engler resulted in the arrest of Rachel M. Parker, 38 of Elkton, KY. Ms. Parker was arrested without incident at 3:30 p.m. at the courthouse. She was charged with Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree (Class A Misdemeanor) and lodged in the Todd County Jail.

Tpr. Engler was assisted by Tpr. Jerrod Hearld and the Todd County Sheriff's Department.
