Former Deputy Jailer Charged with Bribery of a Public Servant

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - The Kentucky State Police has charged a former Crittenden County Deputy Jailer with Bribery of a Public Servant.

On Saturday, November 16, 2013, at approximately 11:37 a.m., KSP detectives charged Bryan Hollis, 52 of Marion, KY, with one count of Bribery of a Public Servant (Class C Felony).

The KSP began an investigation after being contacted by Crittenden County Jailer Phil Parker in September of this year. The accused is suspected of bringing contraband into the facility in exchange for monetary gain.

Mr. Hollis was arrested without incident at his residence on First Street in Marion. He was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail.
