KSP makes arrest in stolen credit card

(Benton, KY.) – On November 20, 2013 Kentucky State Police arrested Crystal Cowen 27, of Paducah, KY and Kevin Goff 19, of Grand Rivers after an investigation into the theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. Kentucky State Police began the investigation on November 12, 2013 after the victim reported her credit card had been taken while she visited Calvert City.
On 11/20/2013 Cowen and Goff were located and arrested. Crystal Cowen was charged with 6 counts of Forgery 2nd (Class D Felony), 5 counts of Criminal Trespassing (Misdemeanor), Receiving a Stolen Credit Card (Class D Felony), Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Over $500 (Class D Felony), and Attempted Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Over $500 (Misdemeanor). Kevin Goff was arrested and charged with Theft of a Credit Card (Misdemeanor), Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Over $500 (Class D Felony), Attempted Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card Over $500 (Misdemeanor), and six (6) counts of Complicity to Commit Forgery 2nd Degree (Class D Felony).
Cowen was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. Goff was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center. Kentucky State Police were assisted by the McCracken County Sheriff Department, Paducah Police Department, and the Calvert City Police Department during the investigation and arrest.
