Five Arrested on Drug Charges After Search Warrant Execution

(Hickory, KY ) -- On August 10, 2013 at about 1:00 pm a multi agency investigation came to an end when the Kentucky State Police, Marshall County Sheriff's Department, and McCracken County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant. The warrant was executed at 711 Burkeen Road in Calloway County. Upon execution of search warrant, 6 ounces of crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $10,000, along with more than $16,000, and several firearms were located in the residence. After further investigation, marijuana and various types of drug paraphernalia including sets of digital weight scales were found. The Kentucky State Police also seized three motorcycles, two are possibly stolen, however it's undetermined at this time because the vehicles' identification numbers have been defaced. The third motorcycle is confirmed stolen from Marshall County in April 2012.
The Kentucky State Police arrested and charged five people following the search warrant execution.
Jerry Mardis (age 54 of Dexter, KY) Charges- 1) Engaging in Organized Crime, 2)Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Possession of a Handgun by Convicted Felon, 4) Possession of Marijuana, 5) Receiving Stolen Property.
Jeanie Mardis (age 45 of Dexter, KY) Charges- 1) Engaging in Organized Crime, 2) Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Monte Beasley (age 49 of Hickory,KY) Charges- 1) Engaging in Organized Crime, 2) Possession of Marijuana, 3) Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
Leonel Ventura Cabrera (age 26 of Paducah KY) Charges 1) Engaging in Organized Crime, 2) Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Possession of Marijuana.
Elmer Chacon (age 26 of Marietta GA) Charges- 1)Engaging in Organized Crime, 2)Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Tampering with Physical Evidence, 4) Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon.
The investigation continues by the Kentucky State Police.
