The Body of Missing Three Year Old Boy Has Been Located

(Dekoven, KY) -- The body of Carter Nall has been located and recovered by investigators. Around 11pm, search crews found Nall in the Ohio River.

An autopsy date is pending and the investigation continuing.

Search Continues for Missing Three Year Old Boy

(Dekoven, KY) -- Kentucky State Police Post 16 received a call of a missing three year old boy off the banks of the Ohio River between Caseyville and Dekoven on Sunday (07-14-2013) around 430 p.m. Union County EMA Director Vernon Martin has been coordinating the search efforts with various emergency service agencies.

Carter Nall of Clay was last seen on a sand bar on the banks of the Ohio River (Kentucky side) between Caseyville and Dekoven. Family had temporarily docked their boat there to stay awhile. Nall, who was wearing a life jacket, removed the life jacket while playing on the sand bank. He was last seen near the boat on the river's edge.

Kentucky State Police detectives have entered three year old Carter Nall missing.


Missing: Carter Nall
White male / 3 years old / 3'04"/ 38 pounds / Brown / Brown.
Location: Ohio River between Caseyville and Dekoven, Dekoven (Union County), Kentucky.
Last Seen: Sunday (7-14-2013) around 430 pm wearing green and blue swimming trunks.

Although the search has concluded tonight, officials will resume in the morning.
