DUI Injury Collision on KY 144

(Henderson, KY) -- Denise Sutherlin, operating a black 1997 Ford Explorer lost control of her vehicle while traveling eastbound on KY 144 in Daviess County. Sutherlin's vehicle exited off the right shoulder of the roadway traveling approximately 333 feet before coming to final rest overturned in a ditch. Sutherlin was extracted from her vehicle by emergency personnel and transported by ambulance to OMHS for minor injuries sustained from the accident. Alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident and Denise Sutherlin was cited for DUI 2nd Offense at OMHS. Trooper James Gaither was assisted at the scene of the accident by Yellow Ambulance and Knottsville Fire Department personnel.
