One Injured in Single Vehicle Collision on KY 54

(Henderson, KY.) -- Caitlin Hobgood, operating a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck, was traveling eastbound on Ky 54 in Daviess County. Distracted by her passenger, Hobgood lost control of the vehicle and entered into the opposing westbound lane, exiting the roadway on the left side near Edge Road. In an attempt to regain control, Hobgood over corrected, causing the vehicle to travel back across the roadway, coming to a final rest in an earthen embankment near Stillhouse Road. The passenger was transported by ambulance to OMHS with minor injuries and Hobgood was not injured.
