Louisville Man Arrested After Traffic Stop

(Henderson, KY.) -- Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop of a 2006 Volkswagen on Buckland Square in Owensboro. The vehicle was driven by 42 year old Byron D. Weaver of Louisville. While speaking to Mr. Weaver, it was determined that the driver had been drinking. Upon further investigation, the subject was arrested for DUI. A search of the vehicle revealed both marijuana and cocaine. Mr. Weaver was transported to Daviess County Detention Center, where he was charged with numerous violations including DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.
