Marion County Injury Collision

(Edmonton, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State police are investigating a collision that occurred today (04/30/2013) at 11:50 AM EDT, 4 miles west of Lebanon at the junction of US 68 and Lovers Lane. 20-year-old Joseph Farmer of Lebanon was operating a 2007 Ford Fusion, traveling east on US 0068, when he rear-ended a 1993 Chevy Lumina. The Lumina was operated by 31-year-old Laura Reardon of Lebanon, who was stopped in traffic to allow another vehicle to turn onto Lovers Lane. Farmer and Reardon were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

56-year-old Kathyrn Abston of Campbellsville and 21-year-old Destiny Lopez of Lebanon, passengers in the Lumina, were wearing seatbelts. Both were transported to Springview Hospital by Marion County EMS for non-life-threatening injuries. Trooper Josh Dicken investigated and was assisted by Marion County EMS and Rescue and the KY Department of Fish amp; Wildlife.
