Fatal House Fire in Russell County

(Jabez, KY) -- At 12:48AM CST Kentucky State Police, Post 15, Columbia received a call for assistance from the Faubush Fire Department reference a body that was discovered in a structure fire. Units responded to 159 McClendon Road in Nancy, KY. Upon arrival units discovered the body of 50 year old, Porter Cain deceased in his home. At this time the cause of the fire is undetermined. No foul play is suspected. The death remains under investigation by Detective Ricky Brooks and Arson Investigator Alex Wesley. An autopsy was scheduled by the Russell County Coroner for today to determine the cause of death.
