Liberty Woman Killed in a Collision on US 127

(Liberty, Ky.) -- Trooper Brian Shepard is investigating a collision that occurred today at approximately 2:30 PM EDT, 5 miles north of Liberty on US 127. 67-year-old Norma Dickerson of Liberty was traveling south in a 2003 Ford. The vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 2001 Dodge operated by 24-year-old Casey Coppage of Liberty.

Dickerson was wearing a seatbelt; Coppage was not. Both were transported to Casey County Hospital where Dickerson was pronounced dead by the Casey County Coroner.
