Adair County Injury Collision

(Columbia, Ky.) -- Trooper Kenneth Brown is investigating a collision that occurred on HWY 55, 6 miles north of Columbia at 9:03 PM CST on Friday, February 22nd. 37-year-old Lisa Willis of Columbia was traveling south, operating a 2006 Chevy van, when she rear ended a 1997 Chevy Blazer operated by 38-year-old Aimee Echols of Columbia.

Echols was stopped in traffic waiting for a vehicle in front of her to make a turn. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and were transported to Westlake Hospital in Columbia. Trooper Brown was assisted at the scene by Adair County EMS, Rescue and fire.
