Shelby County Criminal Abuse 1st Investigation

(Frankfort, KY.) -- On Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:55 pm, a Trooper responded to Eminence Pike in Shelby County. At the residence a Trooper located an injured two year old child. Shelby County EMS responded to the residence and transported the injured child to the Kosair Hospital in Louisville KY.

Post 12 Detective responded to the scene and continued the investigation into the child’s injuries. At 3:44 am, Kentucky State Police arrested Samantha M. Holt, age 22, of Shelbyville, KY. She has been charged with Criminal Abuse 1st Degree and lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center.

Investigation is ongoing by KSP Frankfort Post.
