Murder Arrest in Clay County

(LONDON, KY.) -- On Monday, February 18, 2013 at 1:45 p.m. the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, was notified that the Clay County Sheriff's Office served two (2) warrants of arrest in reference to the Murder of Eli Marcum.

Detective Jeff Senters secured warrants of arrest for Gerald Lee Sizemore, 52, of Manchester and Vernon R. Delph, 46, of Manchester on the charge of Murder in reference to the death of Eli Marcum.

The investigation began on Saturday, December 08, 2012 when the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, received a report, from the Clay County 911 Center, of a person found deceased on Saw Mill Hollow Road in the Crawlfish community of Clay County.

Detective Senters is continuing the investigation and he was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff's Department.
