Robbery in Harlan County

(Coldiron, Ky.) -- On February 16, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10, Harlan received a call from a female subject stating that she had been robbed.

Preliminary investigation indicates the victim stopped to render assistance to an apparent broken down pick-up truck. Two male subjects wearing dark clothing advised the victim they needed a jump of their vehicle. When the victim emerged from the vehicle, one of the male subjects pushed her back into the vehicle, reached in and grabbed cash from her vehicle. Victim described the vehicle as a Green, Chevrolet S-10 pick-up truck. No other information was provided from the victim. This case is still under investigation by Tpr. Craig Miller.
