Armed Robbery Dollar General, Stanville, KY

(Stanville,Ky.) -- On Thursday November 15, 2012 at 9:04 P.M. Post 9 Pikeville received a call of a armed robbery at the Dollar General Store located in the Stanville Community of Floyd County. Information obtained at the scene indicates that an unidentified subject entered the business, brandished a weapon and demaned money. The unidentified subject left the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There was no report of injuries during this incident. This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detective Kevin Newsome.
