1st Annual Fish For Kids Bass Classic fishing tournament

(Pike County, Ky.) - On Saturday May 26, 2012 Kentucky State Police Professional Association Chapter 9 held the 1st Annual Fish For Kids Bass Classic fishing tournament at Fish Trap Lake. KSPPA Chapter 9 had anticipated a turn out of approximately 32 boats and on the day, registration placed 46 boats on the water for the tournament. The tournament raised over $2,000.00 for the KSPPA Chapter 9 shop with a Trooper fund. This tournament was made possible by efforts of KSP Posts 9 Troopers Jamie Rose and Blake Frasure who work vigorously to make the tournament a success.
The tournament paid out $2,500.00 in prizes to the top 5 winners which were as follows; 1st place Ricky Adkins & John Yogadich $1,000.00 payout, 2nd place Matthew Belcher & Luke Fleming $600.00 payout, 3rd place Terry Wright & Paul Johnson $400.00, 4th place Josh Henson & Ryan Davis $300.00, 5th place Bill Adkins & Kelly Caudill $200.00 payout.
KSPPA Chapter 9 would like to extend specials thanks to the businesses and members of the community that assisted in making the 1st Annual Fish for Kids a great success.
