Update to the Bank Robbery Investigation in Virgie, KY

(Floyd County, Ky) -- On Thursday May 17, 2012 KSP Detective Kevin Newsome executed arrest warrants on 20 year old Toni Bishop and 25 year old Jessie J. Keathley both of Harold, Ky. Bishop and Keathley were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center. Both were charged with 1 count of Armed Robbery 1st Degree for the May 14th robbery of U.S. Bank at Virgie,Ky.

Bank Robbery Investigation in Virgie, KY
Date of News Release: 05/14/2012
(Virgie,Ky.) -- On Monday May 14, 2012 at 12:34 p.m. Post 9 Pikeville received a call from U.S. Bank on Ky 610 at Virgie stating that the bank had been robbed. KSP units responded to the scene and preliminary information obtained at the scene indicates that a male and female entered the business, the male brandished a firearm and the two left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Physical descriptions are as follows: White male approximately 6' and 190 pounds, wearing a black bandana, blue work pants with orange reflective stripes and black gloves. White female approximately 5'4" and 135 pounds dressed in black wearing a black bandana. This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detective Kevin Newsome.
