(MOREHEAD, KY) -- On Tuesday December 25, 2012 at approximately 7:30 PM Sergeant Jim Bowling with the Kentucky State Police discovered twenty-two horses in the front yard of his residence. It is unknown where the horses came from, but it appeared that they had been loose for some time and had been on the highway. All twenty-two horses were caught and secured in a fenced lot on Sergeant Bowling's farm. Sergeant Bowling contacted several neighboring farmers but was unable to locate the owner of the horses. If anyone has information on the owners of the horses please contact the Kentucky State Police at (606) 784-4127.
