Post 8 Trooper honored for impaired driving enforcement

(Morehead, KY) -- On December 5, 2012, the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS) recognized 197 officers throughout the Commonwealth at the 2012 Governor's Impaired Driving Enforcement Awards Ceremony. This annual event was held at the Galt House in Louisville.

Trooper Anson Tribby, of Mays Lick, KY was honored for arresting 61 impaired drivers at Kentucky State Police Post 8 Morehead during the past year. Trooper Tribby is currently assigned to Rowan County and is a 3 year veteran with the Kentucky State Police. Trooper Tribby has also been recognized as Trooper of the year for Post 8 Morehead in 2011.
