2012 Cram the Cruiser Food Drive

(MOREHEAD, KY) -- Kentucky State Police Post 8, Morehead announces the third annual "Cram the Cruiser" food drive will take place November 12 until December 14, 2012. During the 2011 campaign, the Kentucky State Police collected 50,931 pounds of non perishable food items. A designated cruiser will be parked in the front parking lot at Post 8 for collection. Additional locations are located at the Wal-Mart in Morehead and Kroger in Mt. Sterling. All items collected will be distributed by the Kentucky State Police to local pantries and shelters. Kentucky State Police Post 8 would like to thank the community for past contributions and look forward to making this year's "Cram the Cruiser" a success.
