Garrison Man Arrested on Drug Charges

(Garrison, KY) -- On Monday, October 22, 2012, Kentucky State Police responded to 600 Greenbrier Hollow Road, in Garrison, Ky, to execute a search warrant in conjunction with Lewis County Sheriff's Department after receiving a tip of drug activity. During the search warrant Detectives with the Kentucky State Police and Deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff's Department, located and seized 53 marijuana plants, several firearms, and miscellaneous marijuana manufacturing items. James M. Halterman was arrested and charged with Cultivating Marijuana 1st degree, Trafficking Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and has been lodged in the Lewis County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation by Detective Chad Bowling.
