Felony Arrest in Rowan County

(Morehead, KY) -- On Tuesday August 14, 2012, at approximately 2004 hours, Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a call for assistance from Morehead Dispatch in reference to a domestic at 1675 Open Fork. Trooper Chris Jones and Trooper Jared Wagner responded to the scene. Patrick J. Garris was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Assault 3rd Degree-Police Officer or Probation Officer, and Execution of Elliott County Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on original charge of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. The incident remains under investigation by Trooper Jared Wagner.
