Sandy Hook Man Arrested After Traffic Stop

(Morehead, KY) - On Monday July 23, 2012, at 11:01 p.m., Trooper Thurman Paige initiated a routine traffic stop and arrested Brian D. Kidd, 39 of Sandy Hook. Mr. Kidd was charged with Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs/Etc. .08, 3rd Offense (Aggravated Circumstances), Reckless Driving, Driving on D.U.I. Suspended License, 3rd Offense (Aggravated Circumstances), Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (On Foot), Resisting Arrest, Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Disorderly Conduct, 2nd Degree, and Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance, 1st Offense. Mr. Kidd is currently lodged at the Rowan County Detention Center. The incident remains under investigation by Trooper Thurman Paige.
