Elliott County Man Arrested on Meth Charges

(SANDY HOOK, KY) -- On July 17, 2012, Kentucky State Police, Post 8 units responded to the residence of John C. Maddox on Gallion Branch Road in Elliott County to serve arrest warrants. Upon arrival a methamphetamine lab was discovered on the property. Kentucky State Police Special Response Team responded and removed Mr. Maddox from the residence. Mr. Maddox was taken into custody and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Offense. Units from Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement, Elliott County Sheriff's Department, and Carter County Sheriff's Department also responded and assisted.
