One Injured in an ATV Accident in Morgan County

(West Liberty, KY) -- On Sunday, June 24, 2012 , at 3:00 a.m., Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call from West Liberty dispatch in reference to an injury accident involving an ATV on Denniston Road. Brandon Bailey of West Liberty was a passenger on a 2005 Honda Forman operated by Marcus Gilliam of West Liberty. Mr. Gilliam and Mr. Bailey were traveling southbound on Denniston Road when Mr. Bailey fell off the rear of they four wheeler into the roadway. Mr. Bailey was airlifted from the scene to University of Kentucky Medical Center. Mr. Gilliam was not injured and declined medical treatment. Trooper Joseph Zalone responded to the scene along with Morgan County Fire and EMS. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Joseph Zalone.
