Execution of Search Warrants in Powell County

(Clay City, KY)- On Saturday, June 16, 2012 Kentucky State Police Morehead executed two search warrants in Powell County. One search warrant was executed at 54 Wells Lane in Clay City. Marijuana and various prescription medications were located at the residence. Arthur T. Watkins, 28 of Clay City was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Marijuana, Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A second search warrant was executed at 141 3rd Avenue in Clay City. Marijuana, synthetic narcotics and various prescription medications were located at the residence. Dwayne Mullins, 33 of Clay City was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
