One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on US 460

(West Liberty, KY) -- On Tuesday, June 05, 2012 at 11:06 a.m. Kentucky State Police Morehead was notified by Morgan County Dispatch of a single vehicle injury accident on US 460 in Morgan County around the Mize Community Church. Karen Gilliam, 51 of West Liberty, was traveling westbound on US 460 when her 2001 Buick Park Avenue traveled off the westbound side of the roadway. Ms. Gilliam overcorrected, traveling back across the roadway striking a fence and coming to final rest on the eastbound side of the roadway. Ms. Gilliam was transported to Morgan ARH Hospital in West Liberty with minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
