Wellington Man Arrested on Felony Charges

(West Liberty, KY) - On Saturday, May 26, 2012 Kentucky State Police Morehead Trooper Daniel Armstrong received an anonymous tip in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked near Licking River in Morgan County. Upon arrival Trooper Armstrong noticed Steven P. Little, 47 of Wellington, standing beside a 1998 Chevrolet Van. Trooper Armstrong located stolen scrap metals and stolen property inside the van from a Wilmer Cecil's residence, a victim of the recent tornado in West Liberty. Mr. Little was arrested and charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking all others 500-10,000 and Criminal Mischief Second Degree; he is currently lodged at Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Incident remains under investigation by Trooper Daniel Armstrong.
