Two Injured in a Collision on US 60 West

(Midland, KY) - On Monday, May 14, 2012 at 2:44pm Kentucky State Police Morehead received a phone call from Bath County Dispatch in reference to a three vehicle injury accident at the Midland Frosty Freeze. Mr. Torrey A. Stegall, 24 of Owingsville was attempting to make a left hand turn from US 60 West into the Frosty Freeze parking lot when he was struck from the rear by a 1993 Ford Explorer being operated by Mrs. Edna Jent, 77 of Hillsboro. Mr. Stegall was operating a 1993 Toyota Corolla. Mrs. Jent crossed into the eastbound lane and made contact with a 1997 Dodge Ram being operated by Mr. John Maze, 57 of Salt Lick. Mr. Torrey A. Stegall and his passenger, Christopher L. Manning, 27 of Olympia were transported to Saint Claire Regional Medical Center by Bath County EMS for treatment. Accident remains under the investigation of Trooper Jason Brown.
