Man Arrested After Attempting To Flee

(Morehead, KY) - On Tuesday, May 8th, 2012, Kentucky State Police Trooper Keith Howard responded to a request for assistance by Officer Greg Wells with the Morehead Police Department in reference to four intoxicated males at 151 4th Street near Buffalo Wild Wings. Trooper Howard contacted Jeffrey S. Nolen. Mr. Nolen attempted to flee on foot. Mr. Nolen was taken into custody and charged with Alcohol Intoxication (1st & 2nd Offense), Resisting Arrest, Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd Degree (On Foot), Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified). Mr. Nolen was transported to Saint Claire Regional Medical Center by Rowan County EMS. Mr. Nolen was later transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. The case remains under investigation by Trooper Keith Howard.
