2 Injured in a Collision in Rowan County

(Morehead, KY) -- On Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 05:48 a.m., Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a report of an injury accident from Morehead Police Department Dispatch. Trooper Eugene Robinson responded to the accident scene on McBrayer Road near the 1.5 mile marker. Jordan M. Setters of Owingsville was traveling westbound in a 1998 Volkswagen Beetle when she failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree. The operator Jordan M. Setters and passenger, Jayla L. Crouch, were transported to Saint Claire Regional Medical Center by Rowan County EMS. Jordan M. Setters and Jayla L. Crouch were both treated for minor injuries and released. Jordan M. Setters was taken into custody by Trooper Eugene Robinson and lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center on charges of Driving Under the Influence, 1st Offense and No Insurance, 1ST Offense. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Eugene Robinson.
