Injury Collision on the Mountain Parkway in Powell County

(STANTON, KY) -- On Saturday March 24, 2012 at 10:20 a.m. Kentucky State Police Morehead Trooper Brandon Eversole was notified by Powell County Dispatch of a single vehicle accident at the 25 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway. Tiffany Herbers, 22 of Erlanger, KY was operating a 1993 Lincoln Town Car eastbound on the Mountain Parkway. Mrs. Herbers lost control of her vehicle and entered the median. The vehicle then crossed both eastbound lanes striking a guardrail on the right shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle traveled through the guardrail over an embankment. Mrs. Herbers was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY with non life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Brandon Eversole.
