Felony Arrest in Elliott County

(Sandy Hook, KY) -- On Saturday, March 17, 2012 Trooper Jonathan Moore along with KSP CVE Officer Dennis Johnson and the Elliott County Sheriff's Department conducted a pre-designated traffic safety checkpoint at the Junction of Kentucky 32 and Kentucky 7 in Sandy Hook. Jason M. Reynolds, 37, of Olive Hill failed to produce his operator's license when he arrived to the pre-approved checkpoint. After further investigation, Mr. Reynolds had several out-standing warrants for his arrest. Mr. Reynolds was apprehended and charged with one Elliott County District bench warrant for Falsely Reporting an Incident, one Elliott County Circuit Court Warrant for Criminal Possession of a Forged Prescription 1st Offense and charged with Operating on Suspended License. Jason Reynolds is currently lodged at Big Sandy Regional Detention Center. Incident remains under investigation by Trooper Moore.
