Felony Arrest in Powell County

(Clay City, KY) - On March 1, 2012 at 6:11 p.m., Kentucky State Police Morehead Trooper Brandon Eversole received an anonymous tip that Aaron White, 36 of Campton, who had an active warrant for his arrest was currently staying at Clay City Inn, located on Winchester Road in Powell County. Trooper Eversole along with Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Daniel Abner, Powell County Deputy Matt Reed and Powell County Deputy Billy Rice located and arrested Mr. White without incident. Mr. White had two outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Wolfe County for; Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor, 1st Offense, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree Police Officer, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Possess and Cultivating Marijuana (5 plants or more) 1st Offense. Aaron White is currently lodged at the Powell County Detention Center. Incident remains under investigation by Trooper Brandon Eversole.
