One Injured in a Collision on US 460 in Menifee County

(Means, KY) -- On Monday, February 27, 2012 at 2:40 p.m., Trooper Jason Brown was traveling on US 460 westbound in the Means community of Menifee County. Trooper Brown observed a white 1996 Chevrolet van exit the westbound lane and strike a ditch before coming to final rest against a tree on the westbound side of US 460. The vehicle was operated by Mr. Donald R. Adkins of Middletown, Ohio. Mr. Adkins was transported to Saint Joseph Mount Sterling for treatment. Mr. Adkins was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Jason Brown, Unit 522.
