Felony Arrest in Bath County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On Friday, February 17, 2012, at 4:44 P.M. Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call from Bath County Dispatch requesting assistance with a burglary complaint. Trooper Kenna Burton, Trooper Keith Howard, Trooper Endre Samu and Bath County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene. Mitchell Crooks of Salt Lick, KY caught James Parker and a male juvenile stealing items from his barn. Mr. Crooks detained the two male subjects until law enforcement arrived. Mr. Parker was taken into custody and both subjects were charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500. Mr. Parker is lodged at Montgomery County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation by Trooper Kenna Burton.
