Post 8's Public Affairs Officer is Doing a Concert Fundraiser For Trooper Island and Post's 8 "Shop With A Trooper"

A Tribute to Elvis Flyer

WHAT: The King's Men: A Tribute to Elvis
(A fundraising concert)
WHEN: Saturday, March 31, 2012
7:00pm until 10:00pm
WHERE: AAC on MSU's campus (Johnson Arena)
Corner of U.S. 60 East & Playforth Place

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police, Post 8's Public Affairs Officer is Endre Samu, who is a well known Elvis Tribute Artist. Endre dressed like Elvis Endre has also been recognized for his fundraising events for charities including St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Ms. Wheelchair, Relay for Life and many others. Together with Rowan County Child Abuse Prevention Committee, KLEMF, MSU, and local businesses, Endre and the "EP" band will be performing as Elvis on March 31st at 7 p.m. A few of Elvis' inner circle men, including Joe Esposito, will be present at the concert along with the actual belt that Elvis wore during the 1973 Aloha concert. This will be a fun event for all...people who love Elvis or who just want to support Rowan County.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the following law enforcement-related organizations:

  • Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation

Joe Esposito and his wife and image of Elive and Joe Esposito50% of the proceeds will go to Joe Esposito and his wife to help with her cancer fight. Joe was Elvis' right hand man and road manager. $40 - VIP floor seats (includes free program, exclusive access to the performers and Elvis’ men, refreshments, and the famous peanut butter, jelly, and bacon sandwiches)
