Felony Drug Arrest in Fleming County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, February 15th, 2012 at 3:44 PM Trooper Eugene Robinson conducted a welfare check investigation in Fleming County. Based upon information obtained during the investigation Trooper Robinson was able to obtain a search warrant for Lisa Sowers and Troy Flora's residence on Junction Road in Fleming County. Trooper Robinson, Trooper Patrick Zalone, Trooper Gary Hall and Fleming County Sheriff's Department responded to the residence and executed the search warrant.

Three firearms along with Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia were located inside the residence. Troy Flora and Lisa Sowers were both apprehended and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified), Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Offense, Drug Paraphernalia-Buy/Posses and Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st Offense. Both subjects are currently lodged at Mason County Detention Center. Incident remains under investigation by Trooper Eugene Robinson.
