Receiving Stolen Property Investigation and Arrest

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On February 14, 2012 Kentucky State Police Detective Shane Barnes arrested Owen Lawson for one count of Receiving stolen property U/ $10,000.00. in connection with an ongoing investigation involving a stolen 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck reported stolen from Doug Dawson's Auto Sales in August 2011. Parts of the stolen truck were recovered on January 20, 2012 at Bank's Auto Sales in Campton Kentucky after Owen Lawson traded his truck with stolen truck parts attached for another vehicle. Owen Lawson was lodged at Three Forks Detention Center in Beattyville Kentucky.
