Injury Collision on the Mountain Parkway

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On February 8, 2012 at 10:32 a.m., Kentucky State Police, Post 8 Morehead, received a report of an injury accident from Powell County Dispatch on the Mountain Parkway near the Powell and Wolfe County lines. Richard T. Raymer, of Lawrenceburg, was operating a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria east on the Mountain Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle near mile marker 35 and struck an earth embankment. Mr. Raymer was transported by Powell County E.M.S. to Saint Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling and treated for minor injuries sustained during the accident. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Erwin Eiserman.
